Here's one I took in <a href="http://www.mattryall.net/travel/album.cgi?album=dubrovnik&pos=5" rel="nofollow">Dubrovnik</a>. It's not composed so well, but there was no shaking. Not as good as an external trigger, but almost every camera has a timer. I find I can often still get good night shots without my tripod by resting the camera on something, and using a timer mode shot.
