Food Review: At Fernando’s

fernands.jpgAs you can see, I’m unclogging my drafts of food reviews at the moment!

A couple of months ago, I went with Keith’s family and Susie’s boyfriend to an Italian seafood restaurant in Leichardt called ‘At Fernando’s’. Yes, it was in the entertainment book and that’s why we went! It was further down Norton Street, not towards the Parramatta Road side. Go and try it if you can, because I think all of us really enjoyed our food!

Food: 9/10 Fantastic! Susie had a seafood linguini or something which she said tasted very good. Keith had a fillet mignon medium rare and he said it was one of the best he has had, the texture was just right. Keith’s dad and I had this special Fernando’s veal thing which was marinated very nicely. I think Keith’s mum had fish or something.

Atmosphere: 6/10 I reckon if we weren’t seated outside it would have probably gotten a 8/10! This was partly because we had booked late and so the tables inside were already all reserved.

Service: 7/10 I can’t quite remember anything bad or particularly good about the service. The wait for the food was okay, the waitress did come up and ask us how our food was, but probably nothing more than than.

Cost: 7/10 All our mains were about $20 something dollars, and the portions were pretty big. (This is coming from me, a student…I am biased)

All in all, it was a very delicious experience. I would definitely go back there again, certain that what I order will taste very good. Do go and try it :)
